It’s all about being proactive rather than reactive. Greg will introduce legislation that would counteract Republican efforts to make Trump’s executive orders into law, protect federal funding and services that invest in the health & safety of children, veterans, the elderly, and our most vulnerable communities, and block efforts to whitewash American history.

Greg’s primary focus would be on reforming the tax code to close corporate tax loopholes and end tax breaks for the richest 1%. In doing so, we’d be able to bring in the tax revenue for things like universal pre-K, student debt relief, a public healthcare option, free breakfast and lunch in our schools, expanding veteran benefits, and closing the teacher pay gap, while also working to ensure, protect, and expand access to affordable, comprehensive, and safe reproductive healthcare and gender affirming care.

We must continue the work to fulfill the promise of civil rights, to ensure that immigration laws are not used to stoke xenophobia and hate in our communities, to strengthen and protect voting rights for those who have been disenfranchised and suppressed, to reform the criminal justice system and address the harmful impact it has had on the Black, POC, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, to enact common-sense gun safety laws, to fix the racial disparities in healthcare, to confront the very real threat of climate change, and to deliver racial and economic justice to the people it has long been denied.
